AP Labs designs and delivers COTS and semi-custom system solutions to our military customers – both the government and prime contractors. Our specialty is in the integration of COTS building blocks with purpose built hardware and software components to achieve best system performance at reduced cost and SWaP-C. AP Labs development and production programs target mobile applications for military aircraft, ground vehicle and shipboard environments. Full qualification testing to the environmental and EMI MIL-specs is a frequent requirement. Our deployed products range from Ultra Small Form Factor embedded computer systems up to shipboards systems consisting of multiple 19” racks. Core competencies include system packaging, thermal management, software development, complex I/O solutions, plus custom boards, backplanes & power supply development.

Software Integration
The AP Labs team of experienced software engineers has many years of success with both VXWorks and Linux Real Time operating systems. Parallel bus architecture (VME64X & cPCI) have now morphed into Switch Fabrics environments with VXS & VPX (Redi) co-existing with high speed serial busses all resident in a single AP Labs custom backpane.
