The AP Labs FS-1112 has a 12 slot front loading 6U VME card cage.  It is designed to mount within a EIA RS-310 standard rack, utilizing the steel slides or can be desktop mounted with the rubber feet provided.

The cooling system provides 300 CFM via three front mounted fans drawing air from the front intake, out through the exhaust mounted at the top and rear.  If the exhaust at the top is blocked, the rear exhaust still provides for sufficient airflow.

The front mounted peripheral carrier mounts directly into our robust aluminum card cage.  The peripheral carrier supports four half height 5.25” drives.  Two additional 3.5” drives may be mounted in the rear of the chassis.

The system is designed for maximum ease of use and maintainability.  With the removal of six fasteners, the upper body of the unit can be raised up.  By pivoting in the rear, access to the fans is provided.  Removing the top cover provides access to the power supply and rear peripherals.
